Our Core Beliefs:

Teenagers are important to God. Many times teens feel that they are not significant as adults in our society and even in our Christian culture. God values every teenager, and has a wonderful purpose for their lives. God is no-respect-of person and He desires to use young people in incredible ways (1 Tim. 4;12). We strive to show the love of Christ to every young person. Our goal is to help them grow to their maximum potential in Christ and teach them to help their peers do the same.

Teenagers are at a critical time of decision-making. Research has shown that 85% of people who become Christians do so before the age of 21. If we can influence them for Christ, they can build a solid relationship with Jesus that will sustain and bless them as they journey their adulthood.

Their integrity of the Gospel must not be compromised. We live in a culture that appeals to every appétit of our flesh. Bombarding us with the message “do what makes you happy”. Young people are looking for real answers, and we must unashamedly teach them the uncompromising Word of God “It is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.” (Romans 1:16)

The Gospel must be presented in a way that is relevant to youth. In order to truly reach young people we must bring the gospel to them on their level rather than insisting that they receive it on own level. We can recognize and meet the needs of our teens when we make a genuine connection with them.

Excellence and high standards are essential. The world spares no expense when it comes to influencing the minds of young people. Teens do not want to associate with things that appear to be substandard, outdated, or irrelevant. We represent the King of Kings, and we must be committed to excellence in everything we do. He deserves our very best effort.

Individuals must use their gifts and talents as members of the Body of Christ. When God’s people work together and use their talents for His glory, the results are supernatural. There are then departments with the Youth Ministry where people can serve through their gifts and talents. We also have internship programs for teenagers in several departments.

Christian young people must develop morally-right relationships with non-Christians teens. God did not save us so that we could isolate ourselves from the lost. We are salt and the light of the world according to Matthew 5:13. Our goal is to help teenagers grow spiritually to the point where they can reach others. No one can reach a teenager better than another teenager.

Teenager leaders must feel ownership and accept responsibility for their ministry. God has ordained the local church to be an integral part of every believer’s life. It is important that we reach out to the churched and the unchurched teenagers so they may see the relevance of God’s word to their lives and enjoy meaningful relationships within the body of Christ.

All Programs must fit within the mission statement of our ministry and church. There are so many good things we could do. This standard helps us keep our programs and events focused. We want to eliminate misdirected energy, and make sure what we do count for all eternity.
