Ministry Guidelines for Adult Volunteers
The following guidelines and standards will be required of any person working in the youth ministry of Glory to Glory. A signed copy of this agreement must be turned in and will be kept on file.
Character
1) Live a separated Christian life. II Timothy 2:2 instructs us to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. To ensure and maintain the parental confidence and avoid mistaken allegations, workers must avoid even the appearance of misconduct’. The use of alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, viewing of pornography or any improper sexual relationship will not be tolerated and will be grounds for a workers release as a youth leader. Any observed or suspected behavior by other workers should be reported to the department leader. .
2) Have a home life that is in order. Whether single or married, it is important that as Christians, our relationship with Christ and with our family reflects the values and standards we present in ministry. Before we can effectively minister to members of someone else’s family we must make sure that we have ministered to our own. II Timothy 2:4-5,12 outlines this requirement for those who seek leadership positions in the church. .
3) Be loyal to the pastor and Ieaders of Glory to Glory as they follow Christ.

Any questions about such cases or other issues of confidentiality must be promptly discussed with Min. Rogers.
